WELCOME TO THE SIN CITY – the biggest entertainment hub in Thailand. Walking Street Pattaya is an absolute must-visit destination for an exhilarating nightlife experience!

Walking Street Pattaya – most famous entertainment hub Thailand.

Walking Street Pattaya.

Pattaya is a buzzing city best known for its unforgttable nightligfe, entertainment and beaches. Over the last couple of year the city authorities are trying to make the place more family friendly, so you’ll have plenty of amazing and surprisingly affordable resorts to choose from!

The whole district illuminates with hundreds of erotic & dance clubs, shows, increadible club designs and display arrangements, delicious street food, fish spa and lots of diverse entertainment. Never experienced such a night life before!

What is Walking Street Pattaya?

One of the most iconic features of Walking Street Pattaya are renowned go-go bars with lively music, dazzling lights and performers who showcase their skills through electrifying dances. 😉

The Walking Street spreads from Pattaya Beach Road to Bali Hai Plaza and it’s an eclectic mix of nightclubs and entertainment bars.

Apart from the most exotic night life I’ve ever seen in my life, there are many enjoyable things to do in the city:

  • City Tours & 24-hour Parties
  • Boat Cruises
  • Ko Lan island & Monkey Beach – can’t miss that beauty!
  • Beach recreation & water sports
  • Ethical Elephant Sanctuary.

Street food in Walking Street Pattaya.

For those who prefer a more relaxed evening Walking Street Pattaya is lined with an array of restaurants and street vendors offering authentic Thai street food to international delicacies.

Safety in Pattaya.

I arrived to Pattaya having no idea what this destination is about. I met the greatest bunch of people during years of traveling! I met wonderful people along my travels but this place was absolutely unique! There was a miz of us from all parts of the world: USA, China, India, Germany, Vietnam (but French) and few others. We spend a whole week enjoying the entertainments and natural wonders of Pattaya and surrounding islands, loughing from sunrise till next sunrise! I will never forget you guys!

Not even for a moment I felt unsafe. Of course the Walking Street Pattaya is a hub of excitement and entertainment, so you should be always mindful of their surroundings and be aware of personal belongings to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Incredible Pattaya beaches.

Pattaya is the most famous resort in Asia and the most popular resort even for the Thais themselves. Once a fishing village, today it is a place full of attractions for holidaymakers.

A great place for a holiday with beautiful, well-maintained beaches, water perfect for swimming, snorkeling and exploring coral reefs. Surrounded by islets, tropical gardens and developed accommodation and catering facilities in the city that never sleeps.

Boat trip is probably one of the most enjoyable tour in Pattaya because of its beautiful azur see. It’s also a chance to visit the main harbour of the resort city of Pattaya, where you will find many boat tour operators.

Boat trip to Ko Lan (Koh Larn) Island!

Ko Lan is located 7 km from the mainland of Pattaya. The only way to get to the island is by boat. Boat operators to Ko Lan are charging very cheap comparing to other popular touristic islands, so it’s a great way to spend a whole day outdoor. Last time boat ticket cost 40 Baht and it takes only 40 minutes to get to the island. For best boat tour options check below.

Modern city of Pattaya.

Pattaya is a small city located near Bangkok. The official language is Thai, but you can easily communicate with the locals in English.

The city centre of Pattaya is quite extensive, I spent there a week and couldn’t get enough! I stayed a bit far from the centre in the Naklua district at the backapckers place. However, getting into the city centre is extremely easy since the local pick-up trucks run frequently, it will stop in front of your feet before you even take time to wave. No need to be concerned, the city is pretty safe, unless you are completely wasted.

Things to do in Pattaya.

Outside of the incredible night clubs, there are many things to explore in the city:

  • Visit Floating market – for me biggest attraction of the whole area!
  • Walking Street Pattaya for night entertainment!
  • Golden Budda on the hill
  • Art Gallery
  • Sanctuary of Truth Museum
  • Street food tasting
  • Unique boat cruise

You’ll find lots of floating markets in Asia, however the one in Pattaya is authentic and extremely well arranged, which makes it a huge attraction in the area! This incredible water market is a labirynth of rope bridges linking hundreds of local vendors, craftshops and sellers with all kinds of fresh street food. You can explore the market on foot or by lovely boat. We enjoyed walking to explore every corner of the place. The official website of the floating market is:

Entry ticket: 160 Baht. Fun undescribable 😉

Now it’s time to visit the hill for the sunset (the time is always written at the promenade, panoramic view of the whole Pattaya and for the budda statue. On the way back walk along the beach, the food vendors will treat you well.
