Safety in Pattaya.
I arrived to Pattaya having no idea what this destination is about. I met the greatest bunch of people during years of traveling! I met wonderful people along my travels but this place was absolutely unique! There was a miz of us from all parts of the world: USA, China, India, Germany, Vietnam (but French) and few others. We spend a whole week enjoying the entertainments and natural wonders of Pattaya and surrounding islands, loughing from sunrise till next sunrise! I will never forget you guys!
Not even for a moment I felt unsafe. Of course the Walking Street Pattaya is a hub of excitement and entertainment, so you should be always mindful of their surroundings and be aware of personal belongings to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Pattaya is the most famous resort in Asia and the most popular resort even for the Thais themselves. Once a fishing village, today it is a place full of attractions for holidaymakers.
A great place for a holiday with beautiful, well-maintained beaches, water perfect for swimming, snorkeling and exploring coral reefs. Surrounded by islets, tropical gardens and developed accommodation and catering facilities in the city that never sleeps.

Ko Lan is located 7 km from the mainland of Pattaya. The only way to get to the island is by boat. Boat operators to Ko Lan are charging very cheap comparing to other popular touristic islands, so it’s a great way to spend a whole day outdoor. Modern city of Pattaya.
Pattaya is a small city located near Bangkok. The official language is Thai, but you can easily communicate with the locals in English.
The city centre of Pattaya is quite extensive, I spent there a week and couldn’t get enough! I stayed a bit far from the centre in the Naklua district at the backapckers place. However, getting into the city centre is extremely easy since the local pick-up trucks run frequently, it will stop in front of your feet before you even take time to wave. No need to be concerned, the city is pretty safe, unless you are completely wasted.

WALKING STREET IN PATTAYA.
FLOATING MARKET IN PATTAYA.
You’ll find lots of floating markets in Asia, however the one in Pattaya is authentic and extremely well arranged, which makes it a huge attraction in the area! This incredible water market is a labirynth of rope bridges linking hundreds of local vendors, craftshops and sellers with all kinds of fresh street food. Now it’s time to visit the hill for the sunset (the time is always written at the promenade, panoramic view of the whole Pattaya and for the budda statue. On the way back walk along the beach, the food vendors will treat you well.
