Apart from being one of the most technologically advanced cities in the world, Singapore is beautifully designed, with attractions that cannot be found anywhere else! The unique concept of the architecture attracts millions of people from all over the world.

Why Singapore is so awesome?

Singapore gained independence only in 1965. The country is inhabited by 5.8 million people, with over 70 million passengers in transit in Changi Airport annually.

While the country is extremely small and packed with skyscrapers, buildings in Singapore cannot be higher than 280 metres. This doesn’t change the fact it hosts the most stunning architectural wonders like Gardens by the Bay or Marina Bay Sands.

Efficiency is also a defining characteristic of Singapore. The city-state is known for its clean streets, reliable public transportation system, and high standard of living. Additionally, Singapore’s Changi Airport consistently ranks as the best airport in the world.

Did you know Singapore's language is Singlish??

Singapore’s unique language, Singlish, contributes to its distinct identity. Singlish is a fusion language that combines elements from different cultures and languages spoken in Singapore. The combination of Singapore’s rapid development, striking architecture, diverse cuisine, efficient infrastructure, and unique language makes it a truly distinctive destination .

Interesting facts about Singapore.

  2. 1litre of petrol 95 costs 3.20 dollars.

Singapore is unique due to a variety of factors. Firstly, its rapid transformation from a third-world to a first-world country in just one generation is remarkable. This evolution has led to a blend of traditional and modern elements in Singapore’s culture and infrastructure.

The architectural landscape of Singapore is another aspect that sets it apart. The city is home to some of the world’s most expensive buildings, including the iconic Marina Bay Sands, which is a must in your 4 days Singapore itinerary. This iconic triple-tower hotel building stands proudly over the city with its spectacular rooftop swimming pool and prices of 700$/per weeknight.

Magical Gardens by the Bay are spread just outside the hotel. Don’t forget to visit the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest, two exotic indoor gardens.

Useful tips for Singapore itinerary.

Best time to visit!

The best time to visit Singapore is during the months of February to April when the weather is pleasant and there are fewer crowds. However, keep in mind that the city is warm and humid year-round, so be prepared for some sweat.

Smoking!

Smiking is not permitted on the streets, you will need to find a yellow marked area to enjoy tabacco.

Safety.

Singapore is a very safe city, but it’s always a good idea to take precautions. Keep an eye on your belongings at all times, especially in crowded areas.

Public transport in Singapore.

Singapore has a brilliant and efficient public transportation system consisting of buses and trains. The easiest way to get around is to purchase an EZ-Link card, which can be used on both modes of transportation.

EZ-Link card will get you unlimited public transport travel on Singapore’s basic bus services, MRT and LRT trains.

The MRT metro network will take you to almost every corner of the city.

TAXIS – very convenient and popular way of traveling in Singapore. Fares are based on a meter and 25 min ride will cost you around 30SGD.

GRAB – my favourite way of traveling in busy cities outside of a tube or skytrains. Easy and husslefree app will book a Grab ride to fulfill your Singapore travel itinerary.

Singapore hotels - best place to stay.

Singapore may seem expensive travel destination, however there plenty budget-friendly options to choose from.

Now according to my crazy freestyle travels, I had to stay in one of the most iconic places in Singapore – Hotel 81 in Geylang distict. The hotel is located next to the most famous prostitute street – very controvercial in the past. Nowadays the area is quiet and I felt totally safe walking late night time. However you’ll be still able to find some lonely ladies on the corner of the street.

The best thing in the area is a real food in neighbourhood local bars! That was delicious!! And cheap! Friendly and helpful people will host you with traditional Singapore dishes cooked with heart.

Few cheap Singapore accommodations below 70$/per night:
