Incredible Kowloon Peak hike – the Suicide Cliff over Hong Kong.
The Kowloon climb was one of the greatest adventures I’ve had in Hong Kong and the whole of Southeast Asia, but read this before you approach the unreal Kowloon Peak hike.
Kowloon Peak – affectionately known as “Suicide Cliff’ is a thrilling adventure that places you on the very edge of nature’s beauty.
The Kowloon Peak hike is approximately 3.5 kilometers in distance, but don’t be fooled by its modest length – the challenge is real.
Reaching the Suicide Cliff viewpoint at Kowloon Peak is undoubtedly the highlight of the hike. Standing at the edge of the cliff offers one of the most dramatic views over Hong Kong.
On clear days, you can see the breathtaking skyline of the city juxtaposed against the azure waters of Victoria Harbour. This was honestly one of the best moments I have ever experienced in my beloved Asia, during years of traveling.
The cliff is named not for its danger but for the historical stories surrounding it, making it an intriguing place to ponder life, nature, and the world beyond.
